Reprographics Artworker – Packaging Pre-Press
Location - Manchester (on-site)
Salary - £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
Job Type - Permanent, Full-Time
Company Overview -
A respected packaging pre-press agency, working with blue-chip FMCG clients across food, drink, and health & beauty. The business is known for colour accuracy, fast turnaround, and expert technical file prep.
Role Summary -
This is a production-focused artworker role preparing print-ready files across litho, flexo, and gravure. You will ensure accuracy, colour integrity, and technical compliance for high-volume retail packaging.
Key Responsibilities -
- Create, amend and proof artwork files to printer specs
- Ensure brand consistency and artwork integrity across SKUs
- Handle colour separations, trapping, bleed, and overprint settings
- Liaise with account managers, design, and QC teams
- Maintain internal Esko workflow and asset libraries
Skills & Experience Required -
- 2+ year's experience as a Repro Artworker in packaging
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop skills
- Knowledge of Esko tools and workflows (preferred)
- Good understanding of repro processes and packaging formats
- Detail-oriented and comfortable under deadline pressure
