This is a rare opportunity for a Dental Therapist looking for a well structured, low stress Friday role within a highly regarded, principal led mixed practice in Stockton on Tees.

 

The practice has a strong therapist led culture and is run by an experienced Principal who values clinical quality, clear communication and doing dentistry properly.

 

You will be stepping into a fully booked list from day one, with a balanced mix of NHS and private work and the autonomy to use your full scope of practice within clear and supportive clinical governance.

 

The clinical setup

 

You will carry out a full range of treatments under prescription, alongside direct access work for both NHS and private patients. This includes full examinations for children and adults, with treatment planning expected and appropriately overseen by the dentist.

 

Appointment times are sensible and designed to support high quality care rather than rushed throughput. Examinations are scheduled for 15 to 20 minutes. Restorative appointments are typically 30 minutes and extended where clinically required. Periodontal appointments are 30 minutes, as are private hygiene and airflow appointments, with flexibility to extend when patients need more time.

 

You will always work with a dedicated dental nurse and benefit from well established digital systems including R4 Sensia and Patient Bridge.

 

The team and environment

 

This is a stable and experienced clinical team made up of a full time Principal Dentist, multiple Therapists and Hygienist support. The practice is well organised, calm and professional, with strong non clinical support ensuring your day runs smoothly.

 

Therapists are valued here and used correctly, with clear boundaries, trust and mutual respect across the team.

What we are looking for

 

• GDC registered Dental Therapist
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong working knowledge of NHS systems and pathways
• Confident using full scope of practice without deviation
• Honest, communicative and patient focused
• High clinical standards, with evidence available if requested

 

Overseas qualified Therapists are welcomed, provided UK registration, communication standards and NHS knowledge are in place.
